Botton + Gardiner uses reputable, proven logistics companies to transport our items. The majority of our deliveries are done via furniture removalists. Items are wrapped in blankets, unloaded, and placed near the vehicle by the delivery team. Docks need to be accessible by a vehicle of approximately 4.3mtrs length and a minimum height of 4mtrs. If you have restrictions on your dock accessibility, please contact us on 1300 762 701 to discuss, we can accommodate any requirements you have, it simply requires some planning in advance.
Occasionally when an order has suitable quantity, circumstances, and product, Botton + Gardiner may elect to use a general freight service. This will be noted on your quotation. These items will be palletised or boxed. Unloading of goods off the delivery vehicle is by the recipient – a forklift or equivalent lifting equipment may be required. Disposal of all packaging by recipient. Docks need to be accessible by a vehicle of approximately 4.3mtrs length and a minimum height of 4mtrs. Deliveries are conducted inside of Mon – Fri between working hours 6am – 5pm. Our production manager will give your site contact a call to confirm the delivery date prior to booking this in, and then the site contact will receive a time window from the delivery team the day before delivery. If you require delivery outside of those days or hours please notify us when requesting the quotation so we can quote accordingly, or be advised there may be additional charges for overtime labour rates on completion of your delivery.
If you require your items to be placed in location on site then please notify Botton + Gardiner when requesting the quotation, so we can add this service for you. You will need to ensure the accessibility of the site and that your items will fit into corridors, doorways and lifts. An indication of distance (in mtrs) from the loading dock and extra information on lifts or stairs would help us to ensure we provide appropriate lifting labour.
A forklift or equivalent lifting equipment is required to receive delivery of and unload concrete and very heavy products (supplied by receiver). If your products require this it will be noted on your quotation. Items will be palletised and wrapped. Disposal of packaging by receiver. If you require delivery via a crane truck please notify Botton + Gardiner at the time of quoting so we can include this service for you.
For projects with high volume of imported products the containers will be delivered to the loading dock (with no overhead height restriction) accessible by a side loading truck. Delivery location will require adequate accessible space to set the containers down beside the truck, leave overnight and collect the following morning. Delays on site during drop off or collection of containers will incur additional charges. Depending on the product being delivered, a height appropriate container forklift may be required by the contractor unloading. Disposal of packaging and pallets by receiver.
If you prefer to collect your items direct from our factory this can be arranged. Please consider adequate lifting labour for loading and unloading and remember blankets to protect your items in transit. We’ll contact you with the collection address and contact details for each order, as pick up location may vary depending on the product.
