Yarra Valley Grammar is a vibrant learning environment which began in 1966, located in the lush suburbia of Ringwood Victoria. The school focused on extending its educational facilities over the past 3 decades. Botton & Gardiner had the opportunity to design and provide their new Fine Arts Building with some of our customised product offerings which was visioned to create a thoroughfare through the gallery to engage with the creativity and originality of student works.
The soft green highlights in this project truly set it apart. Botton + Gardiner collaborated closely with Yarra Valley Grammar on product and finish selection, choosing a custom powdercoat colour (Interpon Sable Gilded Green) for the bench ends to match architectural details throughout the space. The light blonde Victorian Ash hardwood adds warmth to help maintain the building's open and airy vibe, whilst keeping the focus on the art.
The project was delivered ahead of schedule for the building's opening night, and the client was thrilled with the result.
