For the Fabric Apartments rooftop garden, botton+gardiner worked directly with Bcentral to deliver customised outdoor seating that complements the planter boxes while meeting practical site requirements.
The client requested a freestanding solution to protect the rooftop’s waterproof membrane. The Urban benches, crafted in timber battens, were designed to wrap around planter corners and specifically sized to fit the building’s lift for rooftop access. Despite a tight lead time, our team delivered the benches on schedule to meet the client’s deadline.
The rooftop garden now provides a beautiful shared space for residents, complete with BBQ facilities, while offering 360-degree views of the surrounding city - a perfect blend of functionality, style and urban comfort.
