Walsh Bay Arts Precinct is home to some of Australia’s leading performing arts companies and cultural institutions, located on Sydney’s iconic waterfront. As part of the precinct’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a welcoming and functional public space, new waste and recycling solutions were recently installed across the site.
botton+gardiner supplied the Fremantle Bin Double, selected for its clean architectural lines and robust construction suited to high-traffic cultural environments.
Each unit features a powder-coated body and lid in Interpon Sable Bass, complemented by a stainless-steel skirting finished in Dulux Electro Medium Bronze for a subtle, refined contrast. The cohesive finish ensures the bins integrate seamlessly with the surrounding public furniture and heritage-inspired architecture of the precinct.
Configured for general waste and recycling, the Fremantle Bins provide both visual harmony and everyday practicality.
The project was delivered directly through the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct, with the centre overseeing procurement and installation. The result is a cohesive waste management solution that enhances both the amenity and aesthetic of this prominent harbourside destination.
