Botton+gardiner worked with Scentre Group and contractors Ascot Group to deliver refined waste management solutions for the upgraded entry at Westfield Westlakes. As part of the project, we supplied two Torquay Double 240L Bin Enclosures with hoods, chosen for their durability, clean lines and contemporary form.
The design brief focused on creating a welcoming, uplifted arrival experience that supported the adjacent outdoor dining area through thoughtful landscaping and multi-functional touchpoints. Our Torquay Collection was an ideal fit. Its gently curved forms and rounded details echo a more fluid, sculptural aesthetic, aligning seamlessly with the precinct’s vision for a warm, people-friendly entry experience.
One enclosure is positioned beneath the stairwell alongside architectural spheres to form a cohesive visual feature, while the second sits in the open outdoor zone near the retail stores. Together, they provide durable, high-quality waste management that enhances both functionality and the overall visitor experience.
